Isshin Kage Heihō-ke (一心兵法影家)
Traditional Japanese Sword Polishing, Sharpening & Restoration
Precision. Discipline. Tradition.
At Isshin Kage Heihō-ke, the blade is honored as a living extension of its maker.
Every stroke of stone, every pass of finger and light is carried out with the same focus the samurai applied to their training — with intention and discipline.
Our mission is simple:
To restore a blade’s dignity without altering its soul.
Services Offered
• Sharpening (Ha-mise)
Fine, controlled edge creation with traditional hand-guided technique.
• Polishing (Togi)
Bringing out the blade’s character — its hamon, jihada, and natural beauty.
• Tsuka Crafting
Custom wooden handles shaped and fitted to the tang with proper compression.
• Saya Crafting
Hand-carved scabbards built to match tanto through odachi lengths.
• Restoration Work
Rust removal, dent correction, cleaning, and protective oil care.
All work is done carefully, respectfully, and by hand.

- Every blade is given full focus and respect.
- Work is done after-hours to keep prices fair and accessible.

Recommended Training Swords (Hanbon Forge)
Hanbon Forge provides reliable entry-level blades suitable for practitioners who need a solid training sword or a base blade for polish, geometry correction, or customer saya/tsuka work. These are the models I recommend for most beginners. We’ve worked with HanBon Forge in the past, and their staff has always been professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. This is why I recommend them for entry-level training blades.
Standard-Length Blades (Tanto / Wakizashi / Katana)
